Description

Garden of Tomorrow presents SOLSTICE: An intimate three-day gathering at the height of the Summer Solstice, where music, art and ideas unfold in dialogue with the natural world. Curated by Nature, The Artist, Solstice brings together a curated community of creatives, musicians and thinkers to celebrate our relationship with the living world.

Hearthworks’ 16′ diameter Yurts are great for 2 – 5 people or even up to 6 with some bed arrangements. Each elegant & spacious 16′ diameter Yurt consists of a circular wooden lattice frame that’s covered with a high quality bespoke canvas cover & includes a central roof window.

Your accommodation will be set up for you and will include:

  • Waterproof groundsheet
  • Floor covering
  • Entrance mat and waste bin
  • Handmade decorative rugs
  • Large floor cushions to sit on
  • A low rosewood table, about the size you’d have at a bedside
  • a small mirror
  • Decorative LED lanterns
  • a Towel for each occupant
  • a domestic-style electric socket for phone charging
  • an electric lamp

Can I have a Bed with Bedding?

We offer Beds as separate items so you can customise your order to be exactly what you need. Bear in mind that fitting rectangles inside circles isn’t straightforward, so you need to choose a bed configuration from the options on the drop down menu.

Bedding consists of a sheet, a 13.5 tog duvet in a duvet cover, pillows in pillowcases and a blanket.

Please have a look at the Order Info tab to learn more about what to expect when you stay with us at Trematon Castle and the deadline for your final payment if you’re just making a deposit now.

Order information

Curated by Nature, The Artist, Solstice recognises Nature not as backdrop, but as artist, muse, composer and source. The festival brings together a carefully curated line-up of musicians, artists and thinkers whose work explores our relationship with the living world — including performances, installations and conversations that unfold in dialogue with the land.

Hearthworks is delighted to welcome you to stay with us during this special gathering.

Across the weekend, guests will be taken on a journey through sound, ceremony, dance and ideas. From live music and DJ sets under open skies, to workshops, Nature-based practices and shared moments marking the turning of the solstice, the programme is designed to be immersive, celebratory and deeply connective.

Set within the Edenic gardens of Trematon Castle -overlooking the Tamar Estuary and just 3.5 hours from London -the festival offers a rare opportunity to gather in an extraordinary landscape where history, nature and creativity meet.

With capacity limited to around 300 guests, SOLSTICE is intentionally intimate, creating space for meaningful connection, collaboration and a shared cultural moment.

SOLSTICE is a not-for-profit gathering, with 100% of profits supporting Nature restoration through EarthPercent and the Sounds Right Conservation Fund.

When to pay your Balance on orders secured with just a Deposit: We ask for Final Balance Payments to be made 3 weeks before events open to the public. This is by the 28th of May 2026 for Garden of Tomorrow’s Solstice.

Late orders and additions: You can still place an order (or add items like beds to an existing order) after this point, subject to availability & our vehicle logistics. Late orders do not have the option of Deposit payments & must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

To add items onto an existing booking or to request a change to a different size or type of unit, please contact us directly by phone on +44(0) 1749 321210 or send us a message quoting the Lead Name of the booking and the Order Reference Number. We are happy to make changes to your order, subject to availability at the time of your request.

Your accommodation will be ready for you & waiting when you arrive. You can just drop your bags inside and head out to meet your friends immediately, or you can rest up after your journey.

We don’t offer cooking facilities, but you are welcome to bring your own camping stove and to use it mindfully (and with the door open for safe airflow) to ensure you don’t damage the canvas or flooring. All of our canvas is treated to meet British Standards for fire resistance, and our insurance allows for fires in our structures.

You will have access to Toilets and Showers during your stay. These are provided by the House of Hackney rather than ourselves, who also arrange things like where our area is and the parking.

How do I find my accommodation on our arrival?

We send a Welcome email out a few days before the event, with arrival details and helpful information. We include a site map if the event has provided one, as well as specific details of how to find our onsite reception team.

When can I arrive and when must I leave by?

Your accommodation will be ready for you from the time the event opens to the time it closes.

Even in a glorious setting like this, do remember that you are still in the great outdoors. Here are some things which we advise that you bring with you:

Torch – extra lighting to help you when you get back to your tent at night is very helpful.

Warm clothes even though its summer, the weather can still get cold.

Sensible footwear – you will be walking through grassy fields, so sensible / waterproof footwear is advised.

Extra blanket – even if you book accommodation with bedding included you may wish to bring extra blankets to keep you warm at night. British summer nights can be chilly.
